Creative Team

Tereasa Surratt

Camp Creative Director, Co-Founder,
& sometimes janitor

Since she and David took over in 2004, she’s guided the space, partnerships, & product lines with equal parts vision and blind optimism. “Mostly just making it up as she goes.” Her instinct for storytelling, design, and salvaged thrift store Americana has shaped Wandawega into a destination that’s part camp, part time capsule, and entirely her ongoing obsessive art project.

Nathan Bobey

Sometimes Co-Creative Director

Nathan Bobey is a creative at Camp Wandawega, working with Tereasa to help shape much of camp’s visual identity, product collaborations, and ever-expanding world of stories. What started as a series of small, one-off projects eventually led to officially joining the camp’s creative team in 2022. (AKA: ‘The Department of Creative Endeavors’)

In addition to his design and art direction work, Nathan also serves as a photographer and filmmaker for some of Camp’s projects—ideally on days that stay below his modest heat tolerance.

Our Creative Community

For twenty years, Wandawega has grown through the generosity of a creative community that continues to show up for this place. Artists, photographers, filmmakers, designers, writers, and partner brands have shared their skills and their vision, leaving pieces of themselves throughout the camp. We’re grateful for their work, their care, and the ways they’ve helped make Wandawega what it is.
