2025
RECAP

OUR 100TH YEAR ALMOST KILLED US.

…but it was a hell of a lot of fun. To honor our Centennial Year, we wanted to try like hell to make the most of it. We close out the last day of 100 years full of gratitude and taking stock of the work, the people, and the steady effort it takes to keep this old joint standing.

Some highlights: We opened a store in Chicago, and welcomed some special guests to help us celebrate. Were finally granted our very own liquor license and launched our own "100 Years of Summer" Bourbon, a collab Radler, and Canned Cocktails. We released a fun soda line with our history on the can. Bought & renovated another lake cottage. Published the 2026 volume of our Camp Journal. Launched a new arm of the business with a photo studio. Added guest amenities from a rest stop to a cute little paddleboat.

WHERE WE WENT AND WHO WE HOSTED.

We hit the road in search of inspiration with pitstops in Santa Fe > Hudson Valley > NY > Tulum > Nantucket.  Welcomed a handful brands, celebs, & star chefs. We threw a few centennial parties. Forgot our own wedding anniversary. Hosted Pride, interviewed a Legend. Welcomed to our artist in residence program some talented folks, including a Painter, a Multi-media artist, and a Photographer. We put out a call for creatives - and they answered. Hosted some shoots with everybody from GoPro to Coca Cola, American Eagle Outfitters & more. Hosted events with our friends at  SOHO HouseBlind Barber.

PRODUCTS.

We overhauled the web store and added heritage goods: duck calls, a birding line, placemats, cedar goods, ornaments, a souvenir bar & charm station, new tees, a line with Foxtrot and a micro collab with our vintage gear design crush.

GIVING BACK.

As Wandawega grows older, so do we – so trying to find more ways to give back has become more important to us. This is our why.

BEHIND THE SCENES & WHAT'S COMING.

We added a couple of good folks to our tiny crew. Together we spent long days and late nights doing the unglamorous work that keeps this joint running. They’re the reason we can keep up, and the support of our friends, collaborators, partners, and kindred spirits.

As we look to 2026, a few bigger things we’re excited to offer campers are underway: a new line of home goods, a mobile bar, a mini museum, an infirmary, a dozen more projects, and one project we can’t officially announce quite yet (suffice to say that it’s another 18 months before it hits shelves & being co-shaped with a godsend of an editor)

Here’s to the next chapter of this old place.

Thanks for being part of this one.
